In this video tutorial, we are going to show you how to add posts and other assets to the Features section of a Facebook group.

What Is This Featured Section At The Top Of The Facebook Group?

This Featured section is the new way how you can pin posts, group rules, group events, hashtags in a Facebook group. and feature the most important things at the top of the Facebook group.

Once you pin a Facebook group post or anything else to this featured list, it will have a dedicated card in the featured section.

The upgrade compared to the Announcement feature is that now you can pin other items not just group posts to the Featured section.

How To Make Featured Posts In A Facebook Group?
Here is how to add posts to the Featured section:

Open the Facebook group
Go to the post you want to add to the Featured list.
Click on the three dots.pin a Facebook group post to the featured section
Select ‘Pin to Featured’.
Update the page, and the post should appear in the Featured section. Now when a regular user opens the Facebook group, they should see this post at the top of the Facebook group.

What Else Can You Pin To The Facebook Group Featured Section?
You can not only add posts but you can also add other items to the Featured list. Here is a list of items you can add to the Featured section of a Facebook group:

Facebook group rules
Facebook group topics (Hashtags)
Facebook group events
How To Add Hashtags/Topics To The Facebook Group’s Featured Section?
Open the Facebook group
Click on the Topics tab.
Click on the three dots of the topic that you want to make featured.
Select ‘Pin’.
Now this Facebook group topic should show up in the Featured section of the group.

How To Make Facebook Group Rules, Events Featured In A Facebook Group?
Go to the Featured section.
Look for the rules or the Events card in the Featured list
Click on the ‘Pin’ icon to make the item featured.
How To Move Items In The Featured Section Of A Facebook Group?
You can change the order of the Featured cards in the Featured section. Here is how to move the Featured items:

Go to the Facebook group Featured section
Click on the three dots.
Select ‘Move’ or ‘Move to the front’move to front of the Facebook group featured section
How To Remove Posts And Other Stuff From The Featured Section?
Once you no longer want to showcase a Facebook group post or another item in the Featured section, here is how to remove it:

Go to the Facebook group post you want to remove from the Featured list.
Click on the three dots.
Select ‘Unpin’.remove Facebook group post from Featured section
Refresh the page, and the group post should no longer be featured at the top of the Facebook group.
